How much do you charge?
The inviting organization is expected to pay all travel, food, and lodging. Speaker’s honorarium ranges from 200 – 1500 dollars per event. Many variables go into determining fee, including length and number of sessions, distance traveled, and onsite responsibilities. The fee is negotiable, especially for churches with small budgets. I prayerfully evaluate each invitation. For more background on honorariums for Christian event speakers, check out this great article by John Stackhouse, Jr.
